Waiting on my TSX . . .

Hello, all and I've been lurking around for a few weeks trying to read all the posts. All the info I've gotten from the various threads has pushed me over the edge - I put a deposit down on my TSX last Friday!

The dealer is trying to find me a 6MT/Navi Carbon Grey. I opted for the fog lights, mp3 player and "metal look" trim for the interior. I should have it in a few weeks. I can't wait!

It was a tough decision. I had a '02 WRX for 3 years, but I introduced it to TWO deer back in November, and that was way more than it could handle. 65mph + 2deer =

Before I got the WRX I had a '94 Integra LS with 113K. Someone else totaled THAT for me.

I was looking at the Legacy GT very hard because I loved my WRX, but the interior just seemed a little cheezy - plus there was no Nav and a 14K shorter warranty. I think I'm ready to sacrafice a little power for the "luxury" and "amenities" the TSX has to offer.

You're going to love the car. You'll love it even more if you start modding it

Talking It's here! IT'S HERE!!!

Finally!! After 3+ weeks of waiting I picked up my 6MT CG/Navi yesterday! With _3_ miles on the odo! They trucked it down from Chesapeake, VA Monday nite and I drove it home yesterday.

First impressions (since I never actually got to drive a 6MT TSX (I did test drive the TL 6MT)): WOW!

I have to drop it off next week to get my accessories installed, so I'll take some before and after pics of the dash for those that requested.

..no time to type... must... DRIVE!!

Well........I've given my dealer a deposit to find me a MSM 6sp....non navi. He's going to search the port of entry and do whats called a dealer transfer whereby they direct a car to a dealer thats already got a deposit...and he's also ordered the car as well. Whichever one shows up first it's mine. He says it doesn't matter if one car comes before the other then they'll just put the other one on the lot. The long wait begins............................................ ...

Thanks for all the replies! I was on vacation last week (in the Minivan ), so I've only been able to put about 400 miles on it so far. I have a trip on some curvy VA/WVA roads later this week that should give me some entertainment.

The dealer was able to put on all my extras last week, so I finally got to see the finished product when I picked it up (again) today.

I know I promised before and after pics, but I kinda slipped on the before part. I'll get some "after" pics up tomorrow.

nice choice, I am looking at the same car. Two questions for you. What was the final price you negotiated out the door? I am negotiating now. Also, I am very torn wether I should get the NAV or not. I commute everyday to the same place and wonder how much I would use it. Any comment or recommendations you can provide woudl be great.
thanks!

I got it for $28500 with Nav and protection package (substitued winter mats for the trunk mat though). I would get the nav, it just rocks - have it in my MDX too. BTW, since I posted this, I actually cancelled my TSX order and got a TL instead. My wife wanted more power in the car, plus, I like the additional features (Bluetooth and the like). More than I wanted to spend, but yea well, only live once!
