Anyone know how i can control a route by using a via method? Like choosing a path to a certain desination via a certain road?

You can choose prefered roads (freeway, toll). You can also remove roads while you are in a current route.

I noticed i could go by freeway and tolls. So i suppose the best method would be to just start driving the direction i would like to head and see if it will route reroute there?

Sometimes, navigation systems try to feed you the shortest route, even though it may seem more circuitous and longer. The navi in my wife's Pilot does funky stuff like that once in a while. But, it eventually always gets me where I need to go and many times, it finds new routes I never thought of taking.

If you come going from the east to west LA, it will suggest you to go to 110 instead of going 10 and 5 and 10 because the distance is shorter. However, as we (LAers) know there are always traffic on 110. So, I rather take 10 5 10 instead of 10, 101, 110 and 10! It will re-route me once I didn't go on 110 and choose to go on 5 and 10 fwy.
