This may be a "discussion board" but this is the "Net" and a car forum after all.
Give a joke & take a joke, this --> is a two-way thing
Life is short so just try to have fun mang, don't take things so seriously...
really after all it's just a ($28K) fawking car

This discussion reminds me--good reading comprehension should also be a requirement in the forum rules.

Why don't you ignore the immature posts instead? What's the point of spending so much energy on crap that bothers you on the net? This is the internet dude. You need to do A LOT of filtering...and I believe the word "a lot" is an understatement.

This is a great forum to hang out, share info, knowledge and have some fun. sauceman has done a great job explaining the ground rules so everyone can enjoy this forum and find the info we need a little easier. Keep in mind that not all new members have accumulated the same amount of "seat-time" like some of our more veteran members. So, please treat them like you want to be treated. I believe everyone has something to share if you give them a chance.
New members, welcome to the forum. If you are like most of us, you probably found this place by searching in Google or other search engines. Therefore, you are no stranger when it comes to finding info. One of the reasons the forum has divided into different sections is to help find the relevant info much easier. It helps to post in the proper section of the forum. We will move threads to the proper section if necessary.
Moderators don't work 24x7 but we will do our best to moderate threads and offer assistance as needed. If you see a bad post, please use the "Report Bad Post" option to notify the admins or mods. Don't be a back seat moderator (the pay sucks).
Now, I think this thread is done.

I'd venture to say that based on the tone used by IranBT, the responses were in general much more mature and comprehensive than the original poster. If you guys are gonna hand a n00bs ass to himself, this is the way to do it.
Keep it nice and polite.
And yes, pointing out the general guideline's thread will do a long way for you when you ask someone to do a search or whatever else. It will actually end the discussion there.

Let me bring this thread back to life, in the context of this flamewar, but also another of IranBT's great achievements, the "managed to push the TSX all the way" thread.
Well, you judge something on the results it gives. The guy has rubbed more than a few of us the wrong way with this present thread. I'm pretty glad most of us didn't flame too hard at him that time around, because if shit there is, it will always turn up at some point.
So, don't I find this great speeding thread where the guy gets flamed all the while asking for it, but also getting approval, notably from another n00b member, Jasuklee, who also happenned to participate in the other thread. Suspicions aroused, and annoyed at how some are doing backbench moderating as well, I've decided to dig and find where the shit's at.
Turns out IranBT and Jasuklee are not only the same person, but also discussing together in both threads. If you guys read two posts above, I suggested to read the guidelines thread, containing, amongst other things, this:
Funny how things come back at you, isn't it?
