i was driving in the rain today and my wiper blades were not cleaning the windshield at all, and I could not see the road as a result. Will the Acura dealership do it free of charge, or do I have to go the auto store and buy one myself and just put it on?

I don't think they will give you the replacement wiper blades for free. They have in the past sometime put them in for me for free though.

I hated the stock wipers from day one when I picked up my TSX and proceeded to drive home in sleet and snow. I thought I was going to die cause I couldn't see anything since the wipers on my TSX were totally useless. I kind of expected the stock wipers blades to underperform.

After that, I bought a pair Bosch Microedge wipers and haven't looked back. I've had Bosch wipers on every car I've owned. I also use the Rain-X windshield wiper fluid and that helps too.

Before doing that, try replacing the refills instead of the whole blade. They're the rubber part of the wipers. It's very easy to do, just make sure you don't throw away the metal edges.
