Tsx Or Tl type S
Hello all I am new to the Acura community, but ive Loved the car for a min now & ready to buy. My question is, should I go for a 2007 tl type s with 109k miles or a 2008 TSX wit Nav & 85k miles. I really like the type S but it is older, 1001 more expensive, plus more miles. What does everyone think?
Thanks in advance

I like my TSX so much, it would have to be one hell of a deal for the TL Type-S like low mileage, right color combo, well maintained, good price, etc... One thing I like about my TSX is it cost less for everything about the car from fuel, tires, maint, batteries, insurance, etc...
I'll say go for what you want; but, I haven't had any regrets the +7 years I've owned my TSX. In about 6 more months, I will hand it down to my son for his 16th birthday.

That does sound lik an awesome deal, but also too good to be true. Makes me wanna go check the car out & see it for myself @justnspace. Awesome deal!....but yea my friend suggested i go for the TL as well since it has more features. Easier to sell. The dealer is asking for 14,991. I think that price can cum down tho

I have owned a 05 TSX and a 07 TL Type-S. I sold my TSX to my grandma and got to drive it for about a month while she was away on vacation and it is still a fun little car. With the TSX you give up some elbow room and some rear leg room to the TL and of course MPG in the TSX is better. So it really depends on what you plan on using it for the TSX is a great commuter car and will happily putz along in rush hour traffic and quick trips to the grocery store. The TL can still do those things as well but it is bigger and as such is a great highway cruiser.

Both cars are great. And naturally people who have their own biases...especially in this forum.
The thing I always point out when this question is asked is that the first generation TSX won three Car & Driver magazine "Ten Best cars" awards. ("Best Sports Sedan") The TL has never won one, and was not in the larger group of cars nominated.

I just went from my 06 tsx with navi to an 07 TL-S. I will say I loved my little tsx it got great gas mileage was cheap to fix handled great and had all the options I needed but it seriously lacked power and the interior space was tight with 4 adults. I love my TL-S great power more elbow room bigger trunk sure the gas mileage suffered a little but not horrible. To me it was worth it to give up 3-4mpg to have to power and room or the TL. It's all up to you and what you are looking for both are great cars.
