TSX owner within 72 hours...
Hey guys...a few weeks back i wrote about getting the TSX...which didn't happen. Well! It looks like tonight might be the night! That, or Saturday morning cuz i just got in touch with my dealer and agreed to buy a CG/Ebony w/ Navi for 27300. If it weren't for work, i'd be there right now! Will stop by the dealers right after i head to carmax to have my Accord sold there... btw, u think i should talk the dealer into shaving another $200 off??

I'll report back within 72 hours

It never hurts to ask. Why not trade in your car instead? Have you consider the tax advantages?

yes tell him you want it for 27,000 . An offer cant hurt especially when they want to sell a car as bad as you want to buy one.

im curious, did you start pricing like around msrp then bargain him down or did they offer you a decent price right off the bat. I thinking that I should offer 27300 for a 05 with navi right off the bat and see if they take it.

ive gotten an appraisal from 2 different places and they're only offering me a little less than 6000 for my 98 honda accord. carmax will buy my car for $8000 firm. (kbb value 8,900).

I don't even deal with the dealers...i go straight to the internet sales department manager cuz they normally give you a good quote.

Has carmax seen your car? They will only buy it if its pristeen! Carmax might not even touch it if it has door dings. They may say they will buy it over the phone, but that is just to get you in to the door so they can try and sell you a car. Be careful! And good luck!

Oh yeah! and if a dealer says they will give you $6000k and the kbb is $8900 your car probably needs tires or something.

I stopped by Carmax yesterday after work because they had a good deal on a '03 350z Touring (good thing i didnt spring for it!) and had my car appraise while waiting so they did a thorough inspection and gave me the written offer. I was surprised to find that my decklid had been replaced cuz the VIN number didn't match the rest of the car's. I've never been in an accident, and I am the original owner who bought brandnew straight from a Honda dealer. anyway, yea... i hope i can get the TSX tonight...but time is an issue: stop by Honda to get spare key reprogrammed, then Carmax and hopefully the acura dealer before closing...

oh, and i'm getting CG/Ebony/Navi/AT

well...turns out they didnt have the color combination i asked for in the lot =/ so they put mine on order so hopefully i'll get it in less than 3 weeks... so i guess i'll be driving my bro's car for a bit.
