Post TSX November Sales Up 93.3%

I knew the TSX was selling well but wow, what an increase in November. When I bought mine back in January of this year, it was very hard to locate 2 TSX's on the lot at the same time. Now, it seems my dealer has more than 5 every time I swing by. Has Honda/Acura upped the production numbers from month's past? These numbers show that people obviously have more to choose from and purchase.

I'm sure the November increase was effected by manufacturer rebates to clear out the 06's but the 8% increase ytd still leads all Acura models.

That 12xx number from Nov 2005 seems odd. Usually the TSX is pretty steady at just over 2000 -2500 per month.

Exactly what I was thinking. Weren't the 06's in late last year? Maybe dealers just didn't have the cars to sell last November.

I thought I was seeing more on the road these days.

So much for being exclusive -- that was one of my main reasons for not buying a TL. Everyone and their mom owns one in SoCal.

That goes for me as well. When I started looking in Dec. '05 they had 1 leftover 2005 and 1 new 2006. Neither were the color I wanted so I waited until they got a silver one in on January 30.

As for the TL being more common. Take in mind, it's made in Ohio so they're more readily available than the Japan-made TSX.

Where's its made really doesn't factor into sales figures. The TSX just doesn't sell as well as the TL because its not as sought after or mainstream. Just as the TL doesn't sell like an Accord. You can bet that if Acura could sell 5000 TSX's a month they would up production accordingly. Seems like the TSX currently has the perfect mix of supply and demand.
