TSX needs a Race button!
Thats what we need, a button that would allow vtec to set in at like 2500. That way we can turn it off for less sprintier and more fuel economic drives, and turn it on when we want the speed!

vtec doesn't mean speed anyways, just a more agressive cam profile...

Lowering the VTEC too far (2500!) wouldn't do any good, as the high cam is tuned for, well, high RPMs. But if you want to change it, you could look into getting a VTEC controller, but that's a bit of a hack. Do you feel lucky hacking into your car's CPU?

Dude, I totally agree. I was all set to buy a flux capacitor for my TSX, but then I went and bought a house instead.
Oh well.

Some M3's and M5's got lights in the rpm gauge... when the engine is cold you can't rev that much..the warmer the engine gets, the more lights turn off (higher rev limit)...nice
But have to say that i think the vtec system starting at 6000 rpm is the stupidiest honda could do...when in first gear (automatic transmission, sport shift) it flies into the rev limiter when passing 6000 rpm...stupid stupid... why give us only 1000 rpm's fun?
Sorry... just have to let myself go
(and yes i know hondata has flashes... except for my 2005 engine.... and even if they had it for mine... $$$$ for fixing a honda design fault)

My TSX needs to be a time machine so that I can go back to the 80s when there was better tv shows! Or I want to go forward to the year 2015 and try a hoverboard.

You guys are crazy. I just made my own DIY flux capacitor out of galvanized roofing nails and 31 feet of purple yarn, total cost was under $8. It works awesome!

I don't understand the desire to add a flux capacitor to you TSX. Why would you want your car to be temporally drag limited to 88 mph? And are you going to doublecross Libyans to get the plutonium you need? I think they Libyans will eventually catch on if enough TSX owners keep stealing their plutonium...

Can't believe its gone this far already...
Some unamed posted probaly wishes that there's a "Jetta" button that turns the TSX into a Corolla-looking clone and breaks down every week.

I love that you also added it to your list of mods.
