I like the Injen CAI, Hondata really takes advantage of it... Everyone who rides in my car likes the sound of it except my girlfriend . It was way too loud when I had it in SRI mode though, but using it as a CAI its great.

Yea exactly, it strikes a perfect balance, it barks when you're in the car alone, and shuts up when babes are onboard. I see you also go the headers, do you feel a difference in both sound/performance with it? (edit: prior to hondata reflash)

Well I got headers after the Hondata reflash so I can't say .
But I VERY much prefer the power of the Comptech headers than the DC Sports headers w/ Hondata. Power delivery comes quicker (no hesitation at vtec crossover) with the Comptech Headers, plus they are welded much better than the DC Sports. My DC Sports headers seperated(!) while they were on my car by the flex pipe that connects to the cat (crappy quality).

There was no noticeable sound difference with either the DC Sports or Comptech Headers.

Don't waste your money on DC Sports headers just save up for Comptech's.

Oh yeah I bought my Comptech headers and swaybar at Acura of Escondido in person for ~540$ (after tax), they're located by Oceanside which is near San Diego... They actually stock Comptech parts at their dealership!

http://www.cushacuraesc.com

Great service

They also have an eBay store:

I think so far the biggest SoCal meet was the one at Irvine Spectrum, though I remember the one at Palos Verdes was pretty big too.

DJDZ, ur pm box is jammed up dood! Also, for the filter, why don't we just wait til the meet since it's this saturday.

Cobaltforge, got yo msg, I'll give you a holla later this week, how was vegas btw? SF was freakin' crowded and the crabs suck Usual season is from sep- april so I guess the crabs are taking their winter hibernation or somethin'

Damn fellas/ladies, as much as I'd like to go, there is a group ride going to Angeles Crest Highway that day. I'm 50/50 on which I'd like to attend. As much as I'd like to meet everyone and get some great pics... I like to drive/ride the most. Maybe if we were to roll up and do a canyon carving caravan (of TSX's) I'd definately be there but I dunno.

Don't count me out just yet though...

Looks like I def. won't make it. Doug's bachelor party is going to be in Redondo Beach which is waaaay across town. Damn, I was looking forward to catching up with you all that I met at the Irvine meet and meeting the new members (OK, it wasn't just the models and free food). Lots of people coming. Looks like it would have been fun. Maybe next time I'll have some mods to show off (I'm still bone stock). Have fun, post lots of pics.

You're correct. I think there were total of 17 TSX's at the Irvine meet, and a total of 13 TSX's at the Palos Verdes meet.

I'm definitely coming now.

The group ride on Sat. is actually from SoCalSportbike.com. However, if we all would trek up there in our TSX's, I think I'd roll with you 4 wheelers. If not, I can always hit you up next time I roll up there. Or, we can plan a group ride for the next meet and have some fun drivin and maybe a picnic up there...

67 "straight" miles of canyon bliss= Angeles Crest Highway
55mph speed limit... nothing like it.

Tell me about it, I went there by accident couple years back with my old 92 Subie Legacy, I almost :shit: on my pants, those roads are twisty as hell. Of course, it'd be a perfect drive for the TSX imo. Ya wanna pm me your digits so I can ring you if the group decides to go for a run.

Thanks! Yeah, I'll see what I can do. I'm still 50/50... plus the group ride starts at like 8am, so I might make it to both. That's alot of riding/driving though...

I was bummed because I thought I was going to have to wait for the next meet, but looks like I might be able to make it. Course it rained this week and I haven't had time to wash my baby. So not sure if the shame of having a dirty car will keep from going.

But I'm really looking forward to seeing all the other TSX's out there up close and get some mod ideas.

Hey Cobalt, I'll give you a ring tomorrow before heading over your place. I might have to drive my van instead of the tsx though, getting maintenance done as well
