TSX is loved by G35 owners
All,
I am on the G35 board as well, and someone was thinking of alternatives to the G35 (competition wise), and the Audi, Subaru Legacy and TL were mentioned...among others. I brought up that the TSX should also be considered an option, and I thought I would get boo'd off the board, since the power is no where near the G35....HOWEVER everyone said it was a good option, and how much they all liked the TSX. G35 owners? Like the TSX? That's impressive to me...
Just thought I'de let you guys know

Good to hear. My friend who just bought the 05 G35c in December says he likes the TSX too.
You can tell them on the G board that we feel the same about their car.

I just sat in one on Saturday and I didn't see and noticeable improvemnets. The interior is still well below the TSX's in materials used and fit and finish. But that extra 80 or 98 HP and RWD or AWD more than makes up for it for some people.

Not an Ashtray
I think the interior is somewhat improved. There are still some horrible ergonomic snafus though - the most noteworthy being the seat controls. Nissan basically imported the car directly from Japan, and didn't bother to change the orientation of many of the controls.

I think many of the G35 people aren't afriad to praise the TSX because they don't feel threatened by the lower hp.

The VQ35 is harsh and unrefined compared to Acura's 3.2L and 3.5L motors.

what do u mean harsh and unrefined? i don't think VQ35 was really designed to be the quietest engine...it was designed to have performance...

It may be, but that V6 has an intoxicating exhaust note. That alone would do it for me. Somehow I doubt it's harsh and unrefined. Most auto mags and reviewers have a different opinion. To each his own, I guess.
I do prefer the coupe to the sedan, though.
