TSX Insurance Rate
I got insurance quotes today for an 2003 Acura EL vs. 2004 TSX. The EL is the Canadian version of the Civic EX. The TSX premium is 7.5% higher.
One year, Acura EL = CDN $1,056 (US $754).
TSX = CDN $1,138 (US $813).
Going off a bit on a tangent, these rates seem high to me. Never had an at-fault accident, only 1 speeding ticket in the last 15 years, only $1M liab, deductible $1K, plus my home insurance is with them. And I am in my 40s.

If you think that's bad I'm going to be paying $2100 for a 2003 Accord LX V6..... I had one accident 3 years ago that lowered my rating from 7 years accident free to 6 years accident free..... I"m currently only paying $1400 (taxes in) for my 99 Grand Am.... Apparently the Accord is the top car amongst car thieves in Ottawa...
So actually I think you got a good deal....

It seems to be just about on target so far as pricing goes.
My premium: $1417/yr.
2 drivers.
2 cars insured (wife's Tercel brings the combined premium down, actually, compared to if the TSX only was insured).
TSX insured for 80,000km/yr.
No accidents in 6 years.
No speeding tickets in 3 years.
Once license suspension in last 5 years.
26 years old.
