that sucks ass, buddy. sorry. where do you work, just curious. Also, why have there been so many TSX robberies, isn't the point of an alarm to sound off?!

a thief shouldn't be able to start the car and drive it off b/c of the disabling mechanism w/o the key. what's messed up!

why do people still put a copy of their key in their car. i understand it's a valet key, but haven't we learned not to leave a key in the car. this isn't the first time i heard of some getting their car jacked. sorry to hear man, i can't even imagine how you feel right now. hope everything works out.

Yikes, that's an expensive tow.

Forget about that car - just worry about fighting with the insurance company - it was insured right?

You might be able to get a real good deal on a leftover 04.

Oh and

No matter how fucked up the situation is you gotta think about the bright side, by the time you get your money the 05's will be out. Atleast you didnt modify the shit out of it time would have been lost

That's amazing... (not good-amazing). Not too many red ones out there.. one fewer now...

Anyway, I imagine it must be a bit of a shock. I don't really know what happens with regards to insurance, but I hope it turns out to give you a chance to get the '05 and any upgrades you wanted. Although I somehow think you might not get the same car...

well aleast they found it,It could have taken a long long time for the insurance to pay out if it was never recovered.

make sure they cover the mods you did.

i wonder if the tsx bursts into flames when it drives off a cliff.

Man that sucks...

Let's see here:
Car driven off cliff
Big Pimpin almost had his car stolen by a guy looking for his cat

Do we have a serial car thief? Based on this info, I'd like to submit a suspect:

I'm sure my lame joke doesn't make you feel better about having your car stolen, but were it me, in that situation, getting stolen or wreck, I'd almost rather not have it back than have them mess it up and then getting it fixed and then get it back. Start fresh, you know?

Was it like in that movie gone in 60s where there is like a thing you put it in the key slot and the computer finds the code. Haha maybe I watch too many movies....

Sorry to hear that happened, man.

My guess is somebody broke the window (doesn't set off the OE alarm on any car), opened the glove box looking for shit, and found the key. They were probably willing to settle for change in the ashtray (in urban areas, that's a common theft target) and anything in the GB was gravy. I got my ashtray lifted out of my car a few years ago - left it unlocked and disarmed because I had to carry my partner inside with a badly sprained ankle, and forgot to go back outside and hit the button... and we also did a lot of ashtray-and-window insurance replacements in the mid-90's at the store...

Ah, people will steal a car just for a joyride. My stepson had a car stolen, suspected that it was used in a crime, driven at high rpms until the the engine fried, then the interior torched. Abandoned in West Philly with the plates still on......................... THe ahole who stole the TSX probably just wanted to hear what it sounded like when it hit the bottom.

Damn...I must be doing something wrong. A 17year old with a TSX. Whatever happened to starting your driving career with a clunker. Either way.....sorry for the loss.
I was pissed when my RSX-S got a small paint chip. An 05 TSX is in my future.
