TSX Fog Lights
Im about to buy a set of TSX fog light kit off of ebay but have heard of horror stories about them not fitting correctly and the wire harnesses not working. Can anyone recommend a fog light kit off on ebay that worked without problems. I dont want to spend the money on a OEM kit.

to add to my post, here are the fog lights i just purchased on ebay . . . click here for ebay description can anyone tell me whether im going to be getting screwed on this or not? i did read the post by peregrine and it was pretty informational. Still dont quite understand it entirely and i am just hoping that with my U.S. 05 TSX ill be able to install these lights without having to do any mods to the light fixture or front bumper. The car is completly stock by the way.
Thanks for any help u guys can give the newbie!

It would definetly be nice to be able to afford and '06. I like my '05 just as much though. Anyone have a chance to look at the link on my fogs i bought from ebay to tell me whether im screwing myself or if i should be ok? also what's up with "peregrine", it would let me pm him and im wondering if he is still around.

Today I have recived the shipment, hornes does't fit corectly in the fuse box. I might have to experiment with these before actualy have them instoled. Compare your diagram to this: http://www.handa-accessories.com/tsx/08V31.pdf . It might help to figuer out the corect conections and modifications to be made.

To me it's pretty dumb that people don't want to shell out a little bit more cash and get OEM for their car. It's not like our cars were super cheap or a KIA. Do your car a favor and buy OEM. If you can't afford the OEM fogs maybe you shouldn't have bought the car since it probably doesn't fit your budget.

why spend 200 or more more then that when you get the same end result..?? let me guess you will buy evian water as opposed to no name bottled water.. cause you can afford it.. it wasn't an issue with money for me. I like a deal.. same end result. more money in my pocket for something else.. a TSX... isn't a $50K+ luxury sedan.. its entry level luxury.. since when is having a TSX such a status symbol.. don't get me wrong.. its my favorite car that I have owned.. but by far not a status symbol that you have to blow extra money for brand name on it.. just my two cents.

I prefer the push-button switch (at least I think I do), and it's hard to ignore that kind of price difference. But you do make up for the cheap price by having to do more customization/modification. It fit better than I expected it to, though.

Yes they do,and will only come on with the headllights. I have modded mmine to work anytime the parking lights are on.

Please realize that the OEM fogs become very hot, and that the film will end up getting burns.
After about 2 months, I ended up taking my film off.

On my previous EuroAccord I had bought the (cheap) ion lens foggies with harness of eBay. Foggies fit nicely, but the wire harness needed some adjusting (not plug and play). Also one of the lenses cracked after about a week. Not much later I traded in the car. Don't know if I was just unlucky to get a rock on it or if the lens cracked because off the heat comming of the bulb. My advise would be to just invest in the OEM to be sure the quality is good.

So what exactly is the heeltoe harness and what does it come with? Ive been searching and reading the forums but there is no explaination here or on his website.
Does Mr Heeltoe's harness come with a switch or stalk? Does it plug into OEM or Ebay fog lights, or both? Does it cancel when the high beams come on? Do they automatically turn off with the headlights when the car is shut off?
Just trying to find out the difference between MR Heeltoe's harness and the OEM harness, and which one is right for me.

After searching through lots of threads I am not getting clear answers. I have an 06 and one fog is cracked. I realize I can get OEM, but don't want to spend that much right now. I also realize that the EBAY ones may also crack but Im willing to take that chance right now.
Will any EBAY fogs fit my 06 without any modfications? Bracket wise, etc?
Will they work with my OEM harness?
Thanks for any input you guys may have!

it's a car-drive it
After both the foglights on my 06 tsx cracked within the first 6 months I had them replaced by the dealer free (one-time goodwill). I then put rockblocker on them-no burns after almost 2 years (knock-on-wood), I rarely use the foglights (only when it is very foggy)
