That's somewhat true. None of the luxury lines (which have an economy line) have wagons. Though it would be somewhat weird to have Honda put out the wagon version, while Acura gets the sedan and coupe version.

This is assuming the other two versions come out at all.

Doesn't Audi make Wagons and VW?

Doesn't Lexus IS 300 have a sport cross wagon?

Good point, Audi does have the wagon. *Duh*

But I don't think I've ever seen the IS 300 wagon.

I've always loved the sportcross the IS is a geat car but it's small trunk and interior make it hard to live with. But SportCross would actually make the car more useful IMO.

I am actually really wondering if my hopes to originally go with a TSX AWD Wagon are gonna be replaced by the RDX plans. I am just not sure how both TSX Wagon and RDX could survive. It's going to be an interesting model to watch develop in to the Acura lineup for sure.

I'm very excited about the RDX....
My wife loved the RX300 but she didn't like the MDX or the Pilot. (just too big.)
But a smaller utte with TSX traits (hopefully the vtec K24) would be right up there I think. She liked the CR-V but neither of us liked the look of it.

I know one day I may need to replace the Accord and since we have a TSX that's kind of out....But an RDX might be kinda nice...give it to the wife and I take over the TSX.

Hmmm - the front of the IS 300 Wagon just looks a bit weird compared to the rest of it. Just my opinion.

Excuse me, but...
BMW 3 series wagon
BMW 5 series wagon
M-B E series wagon
Audi A4 wagon
Audi A6 wagon
I think a wagon is sportier than an SUV, that's why I'd prefer one to the RDX (I think)

Neither BMW nor MB have an economy line (well, at least not in North America).

Audi's the only one I've seen that's actually got one (still wondering how the heck I forgot about that). But apparently Lexus has one as well - never even saw it in the show rooms.

The only problem is the models like the 3-series wagon, and other like it,--size.
Big woop, you make a sub-compact wagon. In these price ranges a car based-utte like an RX330 or Nissan Murano can still hold more stuff for the same price and they still drive very well. I think this is the RDX market, else if wagons did well here we would get a TSX wagon or 'sport wagon' or what ever.

Revenent is only the 100 millionth person to ask Lexus has a wagon? Must be a hot seller don't you think. On the other hand the RX330 is the number one sellling Lexus making up almost 50% of total Lexus sales,.....isn't the MDX close, if not the best selling Acura?

I myself would love to see a TSX coupe. I would love to pick one up!! Just think of the TSX styling in a 2-door version, oh that would be so Hot!!

But if the RDX comes out, AWD, nice engine, I might have to jump on one of these!! I hope they will come out close to the same time so I have some options!

But I guess time will tell since either way you are spending the $$$

Again, there have been plenty of good handling coupes (Prelude SH, CL-6) but one of the best points for me w/ the TSX is 4-doors with this chassis. I think a TSX coupe would be another stellar Honda that can't sell in the numbers needed. Besideds isn't a TSX with less room inside and 2-doors kinda an RSX type S?

If I wanted a 2 door TSX I think I would have went the Mazda RX-8 route.

[QUOTE=NJtsx]i

A possible external USB/AUX port for easy connection of "gadgets"(the word they used)

How about bringing back all those neat "gadgets" I had on my 1992 Civic? Like the sqeakless console and the front windshield that never rattled for nearly 150K miles?

My question is who do you work for that allows you participate or chosen in such a research?

When will we see/know about these changes? 05's are already out, and Acura is notorious for not changing anything (see NSX, old RL) for years...
