Top Gear totally destroys any NA automotive TV show. They have the nerve to hammer both the Bentley Cont GT and M-B SLR. They test a Saab 9-5 against a Sea Harrier and even turn a regular car review (Subaru Legacy) into a complete diss of the English old money. My favourite quotes:

SL55: The sounds coming from this engine can hurt dogs.

SLR: The interior is plasticky - when you are _this_ rich, your life should be perfect! You shouldn't have plasticky anything in your life.

Noble M12: The car doesn't corner with rubber or suspension pieces, it corners with The Force.

Carrera GT: The only thing wrong with this car are the people (the Germans) who make it.

Civic Type-R: If this car were in a porn movie, it would be the pool boy.

agreed. all we get here is freakin CRAP. i would love to see top gear-like shows in NA. all we have is shows like car and driver tv, where all they care about is how fast is goes in the 1/4 mile and 0-60 times.
