What kind of top speed has been achieved by TSX owners? As I'm not really planning to take it to the limit I'll find satisfaction in your results.

I hit 127 mph all stock except for an Injen CAI. It was on a 5 line freeway at a long open stretch with no other cars around. I still felt very much under control and the car was still handling great.

The car probably could have went faster but I didn't wanna go any faster. I'll never do that again. Here in Cali...you'll in big trouble for that. I heard they made some new law that went into effect Jan. 1 where you get it big trouble if you're caught going over 100 mph. Also, when it comes down to it, it's just not safe going that fast....no matter how fun it is!!

Provench, thanks for the link. I noticed on that link that one individual was against anybody topping their car out and with good reason, very seldom can you find a safe area to do it. I'm not encouraging anyone to run out and risk their lives or anyone else's for what is really unimportant knowledge.

However I know that people have done it and those are who I'm looking for responses from.

By all means, BE SAFE! Don't abuse your beautiful car either.

BTW, I've only done about 100mph in my car and do not expect to exceed that.

The fastest I've gone is about 145mph in an NSX, but something was out-of whack with it, it felt unstable. 135mph in a 300zx 2nd generation (1991?), smooth as glass. On 2 wheels I've done 140 on a Suzuki Katana 600, I don't have nads big enough to do that again.

Until I save up enough for a space ride with the Russian Space Agency I will not see much above 100mph.
