is this too ricey?

Too old school?

TSX plate

I finally got my plate and was thinking about getting those plastic covers, but they get dirty. I don't like to wear the name of the dealer on my car, since I had already paid him a shit load of money for my car.

Nah...not ricey at all. It'll look nice. With it being black, it won't stick out too much.

License plate holders are rarely ricey or gaudy looking. The exceptions are the ones that say "My kid beat up your honor student" etc.

Your idea is good, go for it

I was thinking about debadging.

I was thinking, since maybe it's black it will match the rest of my car and not really stick out.

sigh... another long day of work before I get to drive again.

Nothing wrong with the black TSX frame IMO.

I got chrome plate frames for my CG, customized with a quote from one of my favorite movies, The Princess Bride: "Fezzik, are there rocks ahead?"

Is that ricey? Maybe just plain dorkey. No negative comments please
