TL type S brembo on TSX

I just install the TL type S brembo on 04 TSX and will do alignment next week to find out if everything is good. The only different I did than other had done before is that I use TL type S upper control arm which is small than tsx's. I
made a video on the installation. Hope this help other who would like to do the same thing. Thanks

Nice job. The claw hammer made me cringe, but it obviously worked just fine.

Please post a follow-up with your driving (braking) impressions.

The main reason that I did the change because I hated the TSX keeps warping the rotors no matter what brands I used. I have to replace them almost every year. The brembo brakes stopping distances are about the same which mainly depends on the type of tires on the wheels. I know TL-S has no problem with warping the rotors.

TL lower control arm will not align with the holes of the TSX body for the lower control arm. The TSX's is on the top of TL's

Why would you just the TL lower control arm instead of keeping the TSX

the TL lower control arm's 2 holes do not align with the TSX's 2 holes. If you look at the 5th picture, TL's arm is a little bit wider. I tried to force it in, the holes won't align.

The pads and rotor are seated in now. It does brake better than before, I think at least 25 % better. I will have my alignment this sunday and will post the result. Thanks

So...TL-S spindle/knuckle with caliper and rotor, TL-S upper control arm. TSX lower control arm? Is that the correct combination?

I did the RL caliper upgrade, which needs less parts and uses a larger and wider 12.5 to 12.7" rotor (28-30mm thick).

But I would assume that the piston sizing on the TL brembos makes the brake pedal feel better than the RL setup. The RL setup has more pedal travel and doesn't have quite as solid a feel as stock.

How is the pedal feel with the TL brembos?
