Tires chirping
Time to replace my tires? If i give it a bit more gas when making some turns from rolling or standstill, my tires chirp. I meastured the threading and it seems like it just covers lincolns head....is it too early to change tires? im at 20k miles 2 years. I do drive in bad road conditions from sept to may though (construction, salt, sand etc).

Someone stole "My Garage"
1st, check tire pressures are at least what the doorjamb says, if not 3-4psi higher (when cold)
2nd, if pressures checked out fine, use this as an excuse to replace those POS Michelin OEM tires with some good, grippy, better rubber.

Mine were chirping last year, as well as slipping whenever I started from a stop, like at a light. I replaced the POS Michelins at around 30k. Just didn't feel safe with them on.

yeah..i don't feel as safe in them as i used to so i take some turns at near complete stops before proceeding. I'm thinking maybe i'll hold off another 2 months and get real winter tires on, then get some better all weathers come spring.

Let me help you!
Mine chirp alot. Sharp turns chirp the tires, as well as acceleration. Even after I get moving (approximately 7 mph or so), and then put the throttle to 90%, my tires will chirp.
Oh, my car has 8.8k miles on it =P
