a tiny bit confused on the stock rpm range

In the FAQ section, these specs are posted:
Engine Specs

Engine Code: K24A2
Engine Type: Inline 4 cylinder (Aluminum Alloy constrution)
Valve system: DOHC, i-VTEC, 16-Valve
Displacement: 2.4L
Power: 200-hp @ 6800 rpm
Torque: 166 lbs-ft @ 4500 rpm
Redline: 7100 rpm
Fuel Cut: 7400 rpm under load, 5500 rpm no load
Compression Ratio: 10.5:1
Throttle System: Drive-by-Wire

I know that the hondata reflash changes redline to around 7500 rpms.
I've never never been in any other tsx but I can take mine to 7500 before the limiter comes in. Is that normal for a bone stock TSX? Or is it that maximum USEABLE rpm is redline(7100 rpm) and the extra 3-400 rpms are just a safety margin for the motor?
And what is the fuel cut of "no load" at 5500? Does that mean when your sitting still you cannot go above 5500 rpms? If so i guess that means no more mr. cool guy reving to redline and bouncing off the rev limiter at stop lights...bummer

Thanx guys!!

If you have the manual transmission - fuel cutoff is 7600 rpm

If you have the automatic transmission - in 'D' mode it shifts at or before 7100
In sport shift mode the fuel cutoff is 7300
But with Hondata reflash, sport shift is upped to 7600

Don't know much about the no load. In the automatic this is when you're in Park but I have a feeling you have a 6MT

ok, yup, sorry I forgot to mention that. I have an '04 6mt.
Ok, so then if the hondata brings redline to 7500 that moves the fuel cut off to the 7700-8k range? (That's assuming it's following the same 300+ rpm cushion as honda has it)
I'm just a little confused because if hondata bumps redline to 7500, what is the diff. in rpm's if a stock tsx can go to 7500 unmodified and the hondata INCREASES redline to 7500? I know about the diff. in fuel maps and all but i'm just curious about the rpm's. Basically if i sound confusing it's because i am confused. Anybody with a stock 6mt go to 7500 unmodified?

I don't think Hondata changes the 6MT fuel cutoff/redline.

Keep an eye out for some other posts, I am by no means an expert on this subject. Everything I posted above is what I picked up from osmosis from this site...

Stock cut-off is 7300 for MT. Hondata increased it to 7600. The dash gauge may not be 100% accurate.

<--- look.

Hmm...not what I was thinking then.

I know that some lucky TSX owner who bought a used 04 5AT in CGP in the DC area got a free Hondata reflash so that was a possibility...

I was thinking, what does color have to do with the fuel cutoff?

The rpm gauge is relatively accurate until the higher rpm range. I shift at 7600 according to the gauge, but it's actually around 7500.
