Tinting and Weather Seals

Is it possible for someone to tear the weather seal while tinting the windows? I'm not familiar with this stuff, but I do know that if the wind is hitting my car just right, I hear noises coming from my driver's side front window. Sometimes it sounds like a metal rattle, sometimes it sounds like wind slipping through or a scratching record. I can't pinpoint the exact area because I'm driving. I'll try to listen around but it always sounds like it's coming from different places. Either way, it's annoying as hell, almost embarrassing for such a fine car.

It is possible, but I dont think its worth the trouble. Its easy to take the weather strip off (just tugg w/ the window rolled down..lol) but to reinstall it, you have to take apart the whole door.
