Tint Scratched AGAIN!

Tint Scratched AGAIN!
Hello,
So, the first time I had tint installed on my TSX, I decided NOT to go with the moleskin. I quickly learned my lesson. However, after taking my car in to get re-tinted, I opted to have the moleskin installed on all 4 of my windows. I currently have the Madico window tint, and it's been on there for 2 years. I haven't had one issue, then the other day I noticed a nice vertical scratch on my front passenger window. It is in the middle of the window, and it's driving me nuts.
Anyway, here's my question. If I have it re-tinted, should I have the moleskin replaced in that door, or should I ask the window tinter to just clean the current moleskin? Has anyone else had an issue like this?
Thanks much!
Jeff

Talk to the shop and see if you can get a discount or something. Some shops have warranty against certain things like scratches if you get their moleskin too. Wouldn't hurt to ask or at least get a discount for it.
It could have been caused by many different things from the moleskin breaking down, you scratching it with something, a sharp piece of dirt or debris got in there and scratched it etc. You can have the shop clean it and if it's broken or anything they should replace it for you.
