For those of you who traded in for a s2000

I know there are at least a couple of people on this board who switched over to a s2000. The question is, any regrets? I would imagine that it would be hard to have just a roadster for a everyday car, but I'm thinking about it...

A few more questions:
1. How much did you pay and what was the mileage/year on the s2000?
2. How often do you miss your TSX?
3. How is it in bad weather?

I'm not exactly in the same boat, but I did buy an S2000, but it's in addition to the TSX. I've had the s2000 for a week. It's an awesome performing car, but it is definitely not my daily driver. I am looking to get a hardtop for the winters, so that adds to the price.

1. 2004 with 22k miles for $24,700
2. Doesn't apply
3. I can't imagine it's too good when it's pouring down rain and never in the snow.

Being from NY, I wouldn't do it personally, but i would imagine that a really good set of snow tires would go a long way on a S2000

s2k

I just sold my s2000 for a TSX. Waiting for it to be built. From experience, the S2000 is good for summer time or dry weather. It sucks in the snow and rain, even in cold weather. You gotta be really careful driving it in any inclement weather or you will pay

I have both.

Not sure I'd want to own either on its own, the TSX is a little soft and the S2000 is a little extreme.

They make a great pair, though.

I agree with him. They are "somewhat" similar and they both look like

I also have both. I've only had my TSX a couple weeks, but I hear you on that soft statement. I'm hoping going to the A-spec suspension will help that out a bit. I guess what really surprises me are the handling differences between the TSX and my 1995 Civic EX Coupe (with a Del Sol strut bar, Integra rear swaybar, and 15" SI rims). I guess it's just hard for the TSX to overcome that 800 lb. weight difference!

At least they don't look like like the early TSX rims!

Why did they get rid of the rear headrest speaker option? I thought that was a cool option.

as much as I like the s2000, I guess I'll have to dump that idea then.... since I can't afford to have $20k+ car....

I'm thinking about a G35c right now...

anybody?

Cuz its not an option anymore. I think its standard. My friend has the headrest speakers on his 06.

If I didn't live in Chicago, I'd have an S2K instead. When my CRX was my daily driver, I'd have a beater car for the winters.

Hmm... i can't see where they put it. In the 05's you could see the hole where the sound would come out of, but in the 06 you can only see the headrest and that's it.

^^ I think it's in the hole BEHIND the headrest.... in those things that holds up the car when it flips over... I guess they call them roll bars:

"AM/FM/XM ReadyŽ/CD Audio System with 8 Speakers including 4 Integrated Roll Bar Speakers*"
