I'm not feeling the front end, especially the headlights. The side looks really good. The rear would look very good if they don't use those freaking chrome housing (i.e. Altezza style).

Ugh.... why do they insist on keeping that stupid retro front end treatment from the 1st gen car? The rest of the car looks nice.
I have to admit that I hope they do bring it back (even if just to offset the 8 SUVs they make). But it has to PERFORM (I'm talking 400+HP), or else it's a bad idea as MrChad said. This will be very easy to mess up. The new Z is barely acceptable as a successor to its name....

The lower end engine for the next gen Supra will boast around 300hp while the better engine will be kickin' with 400+hp. This source was from a magazine.. but I forget which one.. bleh.

That front end from the old 2000gt just looks out of place on the thing. I wonder what the performance on the next Supra will be like.
Personally, I think the Toyota design team has been in a tailspin of late. Nothing from their studios seem quite inspiring or original. Everything seems like something we would have been excited about 5 or 10 years ago in terms of design. Man, do they need a new design head in Toyota or what?
Junkster, who would not mind seeing the Supra name come back to life.
