Is there a way to turn off the Navi Screen?

Naptown reporting...

Is there a way to do so, aside from restarting the car and not hitting "Ok"?

Sometimes I just need a little less light in the car to set the mood, if you know what I mean.

I find the blue accent lights provide just the right enough of mood lighting during "nocturnal activities".

Yeah.

Thanks.

Well...in the previous generation Nav, I know that you can shut-off the screen by going into setup, on the display option you touch "off" and then "shut down" from there. Not sure about the new nav, however...

pretty much the same still.
setup screen
choose night, day, auto or off. Press the selector knob to turn it back on.

Or say "SETUP" then "DISPLAY OFF".

Thanks...greatly appreciated.

I'd forgotten about the Set Up Menu completely. I haven't gone into it since the first few days of having the car.

Naptown out.
