Taking a road trip in my TSX

Wassup guys I'm gonna be taking a road trip from NJ down to GA and then FL, then back again to get home the NJ. I'm alittle worried about the car getting damaged from the extensive highway driving, I've taken it to VA twice but this trips hell of alot longer, what do you guys recommend for me to do to prep the car. I was going to put on a bra but I doesn't fit with the front lip, a friend of mine told me that one time he wraped the front end of his car and the mirrors with reynolds wrap to protect it from the bugs. I laughed, cause that idea sounds crazy, but he says it works. I'd be worried about the reynolds wrap being melted down by the sun and being hell to take off afterwards since its such a long trip. Any of you guys ever done this?

I'd think the glue on the tape would melt onto the cars paint. Or am I wrong on this?

Just use the same tape CCC used. I highly doubt he would use any tape that would harm his paint.

3M painter's tape. It has a low adhesive factor and shouldn't damage you paint in any way.

Otherwise, just make sure you have a proper emergency kit in case you need to wait somewhere for a while and check the inflation on your spare and you should be set.

Or you could just drive your car. I've taken mine on two 1000 mile highway trips already and have only one minuscule rock chip (in the area the clearbra doesn't cover although I didn't actually have the clearbra when I got it). Make sure you have your phone and a car charger so if anything bad happens you can call the ATLC number that's stuck on your window.

Yes it is 3m painters tape. It is very low adheasive and will last between 10-14 days on the car without leaving any adheasive on the car. I have occasionally had a little adheasive left on the car however the adheasive they use is so light it wipes right off with some quick detail. just be sure to wash your car before you put it on or else it will not stick to the car at all.
