Stepping up from the lease to a buy
So I know I have been kinda "away" lately, but things have been busy with the whole twin gig and all
Looks like I am gonna switch over and take the plunge for a purchase of the TSX ... it's time to make the move to car ownership and this is the car. This is the first car that I can truly say I have a chance.
Any tips? I have 4.5% for 6 years through my credit union so it should be a pretty good setup. After 3 years I will still owe much less than what my lease buyout would be.
So I guess this means I am gonna be around on this site for a while So Acura ... you have your notice ... 5-6 years for the TSX Type R instead of 3 (2008 TSX ... IMA ..... hmmmmmmmm .... gimmie )

In fact ... I am convinced this site can keep me on track to pay off my first car !!! I have just been through too many cars and too much negative equity
Time for a new "lease" (or lack there of) on life

Are you doing this on purpose, or are you making the same mistake that I made on you on that other thread???
I have a feeling Prov isn't gonna know wtf I'm talking about. And believe me, it isn't worth knowing!
P.S. I think he's doing it on purpose.

Congrats man..I still haven't paid a car off totally yet...I always get rid of it in the last year that I have payments...I think the TSX might change that though, as it's my first foreign car as well...

Congrats on Buying, you won't regret it... when's it's paid off you will still get between 6-10 grand depending on the condition and if you don't want the car you can take all that money and put it down on whatever car you want!! Good move

Hey Prov...Nice to see ya back, I was gettin worried after all the BS from the other site. I was gonna PM Jason to ask about you, but now that he's God Almighty I figured he might not have time to read it. Anyway, where the hell ya been?

congrats buddy! I got 4.99% for 5 years, so I think 4.5 is pretty good for 6 years. Find out if there is a prepayment penalty, just in case you have some extra cash and you want to pay it off. Usually there isn't and especially if you're going through your credit union.
P.S. Post whore!
