And maybe they'll "ruin" it like they did with the last generation Accord, and we can see our resale values go through the roof...

(Actually, I'd rather they do a nice job with it. Then I'll just trade)

Isn't this the same car that somebody on this forum spotted in Cali or something? I think there was a thread titled something like 'wide body accord' in car talks....

So it really was a test mule for the new TSX chassis...

1. The power is good but not good enough for the likes of todays standards. The competition is considerably more powerful and lets face it the auto TSX is incredibly slow. Personally I dont think the current gen TSX will last another year.

2. A lot of new vehicles are debuting in this segment that have much more to offer and a new TSX has the potential to steal sales away from BMW, Infiniti, and Lexus owners.

3. The intro of new TSX, now, will pave the way for the new TL in 09 and get people excited about its intro as well. I highly doubt they would release 2 new sedan models within the same year. That just seems like a big mistake..

Anyways thats just what I was thinking..
I agree that it would be a bit of a mistake to introduce two sedans in one year, however, that's exactly what they did with the TSX and TL last time. And then Acura did the same thing with the RDX and MDX, so Acura doesn't seem to consider it a problem even if some of us might.

wow nice, if u look at the spy shots of the accord coupe, its not that bad, it looks really ugly cause they covered up half the stuff with white tape.

Interesting tidbits - The headlights = TSX headlights now, steering wheel uses new rdx/crv wheel, gauge cluster more tsx/crv like.

Nothing new here...same pic that has been floating around for a while.

Although I will say it follows the cues of the Civic, which makes it look more like a Honda. IF this is the next TSX, then they didn't do a very good job of separating Honda and Acura designs IMO.

Check out the stance.. whats that, about 3" off the ground? Just a drawing, I'll wait for the first 'real' spy shots.
