A-Spec Kit In Winter

A-Spec Kit In Winter
I just bought an 05 TSX A-Spec and I'm wondering if others with the factory lip kit keep it on in the winter or is it worth the hassle of removing it? How does it stand up?

I had the ASpec kit on my last TSX. The front lip held up fine through winter. That car was not lowered. The GF did hit a couple of curb stops in parking lots in -30C weather and it didnt crack/shatter. So I was happy about that. I think that kit is uerthane and not fiberglass but dont quote me.

It's urethane, if you manage to crack the A-Spec lip kit, you really messed up somewhere. It takes some doing. I'll be leaving my kit on, but I also don't plan to drive the TSX in snow. If you're on stock suspension you'll be fine, and if you're dropped low, raise the car up a little bit and you're set...

Thanks for the help guys I'll leave it on. The car has a-spec suspension so it's a tad lower than stock but not much. It's also stored indoors at home and work. My front end is in great shape but one of my fog light lenses is cracked
