Sorta unhappy with the steering wheel

While the leather has not worn out yet, I wish it were a bit more thicker.

Has anyone looked into adding an aftermarket leather wrap, or even replacing [if possible] the leather? Last thing I want is the wrap to look "obvious", if you know what I mean.

No complaints here.

Would this look too obvious?

You need to do something about those sweaty palms...

I have no problems yet, but have wondered the same thing about the wheel in a couple of years...

i'm happy with it...much better than my integra gsr where the leather mysteriously turned white so my bf ripped it off before we sold it lol, it was an option anyway so it looked normal underneath, much better than the white-ish fake leather.

Nice! Get some matching fuzzy dices to hang from the rearview and you're set!

It definitely needs a thicker wheel. I almost got the RSX because slim wheels annoy me.

The only product I could find was this:

http://www.wheelskins.com/index.php

Has anyone tried their products?

Considering they are slip on covers they look like decent quality. I'd consider a shift boot but they don't list my TL.

Ya, The RSX wheel is super nice. I posted in another thread about how our steering wheels are too thin. If we can put the RSX steering wheel on the TSX with no problem, then I would do that. Because, I don't know much about doing these kind of things, I won't do it... I'm afraid the airbag might get messed up or might not get deployed properly.

Not to mention the control buttons.

Only complain I have is the steering wheel diameter.... a bit too big for a sporty sedan.... now the EuroR momo wheel would be another story... if it had all the buttons from our wheel, even better...

Well the audio can be controlled via voice-activation. The cruise control ... I don't know.

Its a good size IMO, I think the RSX diameter fits it well, but it'd be uncomfortable for our larger car

i think it's fine, but i guess it depends on the size of your hands.

Ya the size is alright.. But I'm just comparing the thickness and diameter of our steering wheel to cars that I've driven with real nice steering wheels.. ex. RSX, IS300, Legacy GT.

Putting your hands around those steering wheels make it seem like you're alot more in control.

What do you mean by "uncomfortable for our larger car"? Our steering wheel is very sensitive, so I'm guessing that going with smaller diameter steering wheel would make a slight touch into a huge directional change right?

I agree that the diameter size is perfect, only wish it to be thicker and more padding imho.
