Someone Broke into my CAR!! *PIC*

So i came home last night rather late from eating and i parked it around 12am. I had my ipod in the glove and other valubles there llike normal.. However my GPS system hooked to my car lighter was visable and i wasnt thinking of covering that for some stupid reason.. so i wake up to hear my sister screaming saying someone smashed my window. so i go down to the lot and look out the balcony and see a 30lb rock sitting on my passanger side seat witht he glass smashed. the person did damage to the body frame of the car aswell as the interior.. here is the visual to a night and day of hell for me. I have state farm and i hope they will cover all of it. The glass that shattered actually scratched my paint so maybe a free detail from the stealership? also the interior got super scratched by the glass so idk what the insurance will pay for but i hope they cover it all.

There's a special kind of hell for the low life car thieves that can't even pick a door with a slim jim, but just smash 'n grab.

Makes me wonder ... I sometimes leave my $99 Whistler RD in clear view, so no one will think they're getting an Escort or Valentine. Maybe I should re-think that. Though ... I live in a relatively crime-free area. +1 for putting my car in the garage at night.

It looks about 80-90 dollars without the inner leather thingy that rests which keeps the window in place. Those thieves need to be shot.

If I'm not mistaken, it seems like the chrome part was the only part damage and the leather part. The chrome part can be replaced for 40 bucks each or something along that cost. The leather part looks like 15 dollars to replace.

My '07 stearing wheel doesnt have that V shaped groove that this TSX does. The list of model year changes never mention that.

How come you didn't hear the smash??

did the cop try to dust for prints of the glove compartment?

The knob is still locked so that means they didn't open the door. The factory alarm doesn't make any noise unless something is triggered.

damn ,that blows.
not only are they horrible thieves -- they throw like a girl, too.
they hit the top and bottom of the window from point blank range.

with any luck, people that stupid will be turned in by their friends.

I couldn't help noticing that they looked in the "not an ashtray." Maybe we need to make up alternate labels, "Not a jewelry stash."

Wouldn't be surprised if it was some teenagers, Total amateurs.
That's why i would never leave anything in plain view always put it in the trunk or lock it in the glove box. If you get everything fixed at least upgrade your alarm. OEM alarm aren't that great.

Things like this makes the extra I pay for a garage totally worth it.

Very sorry. Whoever did this should have the rock thrown back at their head...3 times...and then the shards of your window dumped onto them.

And whatever else you think is just.

You can probably get your homeowner's insurance to pay for a new GPS or replace everything that was stolen from inside.

Yeah State Farm is a great company. I took the acura to the stealership today and the insurance quote person is replacing the door, seat covers from the shattered glass, and a full 199.99 body detail from the paint scratches by the glass. And of corse the actual glass is being replaced and all the leather damaged. I love state farm, makes the insurance i pay totally worth it.

ya i work for state farm, people sometimes think there over paying for insurance, but when something does happen we are usually hassle free to take care of it and we end up over paying! lol
