If you don't mind me asking, how much did you have to spend out of pocket? I'm just trying to figure out how much it would cost me to do something like this (and would it be more convenient to do now vs. 1 year from now).

As for out of pocket, this time I just paid tax, tags, first payment, and fees. In Cali, you get the advantage of paying tax only on usage and it's rolled into the monthly payment as opposed to being a lump sum up front. You should be able to get away with a drive-off of just the tags, fees, and first payment.
Oh, and I'm hardly an expert. I've just done a whole lot of leases lately (all them for my family and at least a few for friends).

So one more question if you don't mind. You mentioned above that you want to specify that they do a buyout vs. paying off your payments. So with option #1 (buyout), they would basically pay off what's remaining in the car (lease + residual?) and then the dealership would hope to make some + more in the resale right? With option #2 (lease payoff), they would pay off your current lease, but would add the total cost to the monthly payments on the new car.
I've also heard that in California, there is a way to end your lease with a very small penalty, and that the penalty is normally less if you do it in your 2nd year (less depreciation) vs. your 1st year. Have you ever heard anything about this?

Here are a few pics that I shot just now. The car is incredibly dirty right now because I just drove it after the snow from last night. Good thing I can probably convince the dealer to give it a rinse tomorrow when I pick up the trunk tray.
Better pics will come after the weather clears and spring rolls around. I'll be putting the TL wheels on at that time so those pics should prove most interesting.
In the meantime, enjoy!

You can program things such as when you hit the unlock button, it can open either just the drivers door followed by all the doors on the second press or opening all the doors on the first press.
There are a whole slew of things that can be modified, but nothing related to major functionality, most just things related to the MID display and such.

Does anyone have any experience with this?
Thanks

From experience, after unlocking the doors with the keyfob, the seats move to the stored position once you open the door.. but not until. And the MID still only displays "WELCOME" when you open the door. It's not until you start the car that it displays "WELCOME DRIVER n". It's a nice touch... but I want it to say my name!!

I leaning towards not getting the remote starter despite the fact that it would great to have.

Looks like you've had snow as of late...how do the "aero" wipers handle snow? Any difference in performance? It's my guess that we'll be seeing these across the Acura line in the near future...
