You say your roommate bought a Type R, but then you bought the springs and intake? Who's car is it, yours or his/her?

Either way I'm jealous. The Type R is my favorite car. within affordability I mean. I'd take a Type R over alot other more expensive new cars ie RSX, 350Z and probly even an S2000 (Well maybe not the 04) I plan to own one one day as my weekend toy, But it has to be an 01 with those sweet red seats.

actually...when he bought the type R it already came with comptech header and Icebox along with Accel wires and grounding kit. The springs and intake are for my car as I have to try and keep up now.

anything short of 24hr protection from a swat team is not going to do it..boomerang low jack... i know lots of ITR owners with all those and still got it stolen..its the price to pay for an ITR..but if he's lucky he'll just get his emblum jacked every other day.

I sold my 00 Black Type R at the beginning of this yr.
Its an awesome car, but its not worth the headaches worrying about it.

also as well..this thing e-mails you when your alarm goes off and since work requires us to carry blackberrys 24/7 its a little more protection. I warned him about the theft possiblities but he the "im buying a ITR" face so I could of told him his dog died and he still would of been happy

Its the price you pay for perfection.

We never did get a Black ITR in Canada

But we did get 98's :P

Yes, I'm obsessed with that fine automobile. I get goosebumps seeing one to this day.

agreed but it shouldn't be near as bad since they're in AL. I'd still be buying an alarm asap with a pager, rerouting the hood cable, fuel cut off etc etc.

Yeah my friend has a badass Aladdin Alarm System in his ITR. Anyone short of keying the car will set the alarm off on silent for him so he can go out there with a bat and beat the shit out of the guy. Anyway he found a steal for a BRAND NEW ITR back in NJ a couple years ago... lucky bastard.
