Smart or Cheap, Axle problem

I have a 2004 TSX with 142,000 miles. Do to an unfortunate mishap with a curb (yes, my wife), it looks like the front axle is shot. Vibration when accelerating at around 3,000 rpm. I jacked it up to check the front end and noticed that the lower control arm bushings are all cracked.

If you were me, when replacing the axle, would you also do the control arms and stabilizer end links while you are there?

Control arm bushings rarely fail. Make sure you're not seeing excess mold trim that was not cut away. Check anti-sway bar bushings for looseness. Replace if any looseness.

Don't go cheap on CV axle. The AZ and Pepboys cheap axle savings aren't worth the labor it likely will cost to replace. OEM or high quality aftermarket.

good luck

I am looking at getting EMPI axles. Probably will replace the sway bar end links while I'm there.
