Side marker color change.

Hey guys, I was wondering if it was possible for me to change the color of the side markers (side mirrors) to red, I would like for them to match the rear outer tails. Which I think is the cheaper alternative oppose to buying the JDM rear outer tails (amber). Has anyone ever tried doing this and is this even possible?

Why would you want to do this? What color is your car?

And FYI, front turn signals need to blink amber so no matter what, even if you change the color of the lens, the light must still appear amber when it lights up.

You might want to talk to RockBlocker to see if they would be willing to do a film for you. They currently have them in blue, so I imagine that if red is available, they might be willing to do it.

I have Carbon Grey!

I wouldn't want to change the color of the lens, rather change the light bulb to red oppose to having it blink amber. I still want to have the side markers to be cleared like they are stock (So Rockblocker would be out of the question), but change the light pattern to 'red'...I'm not sure if you understood my question on the first post...but I hope I have clarified into what it is I want to do.

That's not legal. The lights, by law, have to blink amber. Only emergency vehicles are allowed to have blinking red or blue lights on the front.

even just the side markers located on the side mirrors? But I would assume it's still doable, correct?
Well aren't front window tint still illegal? There's members here with even the front windshield tinted, or even puddle lights on their car. People do all kinds of illegal stuff to mod their car, but I just thought I'd ask this question.

Thanks CG!

Doing tint on the front windshield is illegal, but is not always noticeable. Puddle lights are not illegal as long as they are used for their purpose of providing light while entering and exiting the vehicle. Both of these generally only affect the individual inside the vehicle.

The problem with changing your turn signals to be red is that they flash and are used often. A flashing red light is used by emergency vehicles and you would confuse other drivers on the road.

Again, you're more than welcome to try it, but when you get a ticket and cited, or possibly arrested, for impersonating an emergency vehicle, don't say I didn't try to warn you.
