You need to find the right threaded screw. Or momo are a 3 screw method which you screw three screes in to the shaft in 3 directions.

This is by far the worst way to hold on to the shift knob. I used electrical tape so the screws can dig in and have a firm hold.

i hate momo shift knobs though the screw method sucks.

I used electrical tape so the screws are seated in pretty tight that it doesnt wabble.

Mugen auto shift knob. Lito has it installed in his car so you can search for pics from him of it on. Looks okay but kinda big for my taste.

What shift knob is this? and where'd you get it... I like it. Did you just unscrew your stock knob and screw this one on?

according to what i read it can fit auto trans that needs to depress the button is that right?

just that by installing this, the "button" will be permanently depressed, which i don't think has any disadvantages is that right?

On a push-button auto shifter, the button is what prevents the shifter from being accidentally pushed into reverse/park while driving, so there is theoretical risk of the shifter being bumped hard enough to go into reverse/park while moving, which is seriously bad news. If you're confident you won't do this, go for it, but I'd keep a hand on the shifter if there are passengers in the car.

The tsx has no push button for the auto. It stopped by the directional gearshift pattern.

i think it works for both. the shift knob works for both auto and manual so i'm assuming it will work for push down ones.

The Mugen shift knob shown previously looks different from the one in Lito's car. Maybe it's just the angle.

Taken from Lito's thread, big fan of his car =P

so it does so for the push down ones by permanently depressing the unlocking rod?
