i'm not a fan of the x-mas tree look ... no matter how popular it is red brides w/ green takata harnesses is tacky to me. plus i don't like how the end of the harness just hangs wildly off that nrg bar.

BBK! Nice, man. Very nice. I've had my eye on the LG1 ever since sitting in one at Josh's shop. Black microsuede is the way to go. I can't wait to see how they look in the TSX.

godfather will be using the stock seat belts, no harness
vivid racing and cvr motorsports have good prices on bride seats.
also Z1 Performance is great, ask for Adam there.
the VIOS III and the Gias are not nearly the same.
not even in the same category even.
the VIOS seats are buckets.
the Gias/Stradia are reclinable seats.
two kinda different ballgames.
I suggest spending a bunch of time looking over the minute details
that differentiate the seats and learn the differences.
and yes, after buying the seats, you will need to buy the rails.
and if you want, some covers for the backs of the seats to protect them.

^ i'll get as much info as i can, but MMsTSX has already done a wonderful job of that thus far.
i'll be taking my ride to LHT Performance in st. pete, fl to have the new goodies installed. they've got a dedicated honda/acura tech on staff that really knows his stuff. he said something about keeping the wiring, installing resistors, etc.
shop specializes in sleeper builds and custom everything. they've had a few cover cars, most recently the shop car, k20 powered insight!

kind of on purpose.
I have so many parts building up that doing shoots is pointless.
it'll be a complete car transformation.
I will probably even have an entire new interior before I even take
pictures again.
just got a spoon spoiler in today... damn thing doesn't come painted.
I didn't even think of that... so off to a body shop I guess.
however, when it comes to the seats, I'll be all over taking pictures
and doing a write up. It would be great if you could try the same with
your cars. I know the techs at both places might be pissy with us trying
to take pics as they are working, but I'm gonna give it a shot.
this is a pretty important contribution to the community that needs to be made.
same thing my guy is saying. keep the wiring, install resistors, and trick
the bladder thing under the passanger seat. shouldn't be too hard really.
I can't wait to see them seats tomorrow.

OMG, SEAT ARRIVED TODAY. THEY ARE TRULY DA SH*T!!!!!!!!!!! SO INCREDIBLY COMFY, BUILD QUALITY LOOKS DAMN GOOD (ESPECIALLY FOR THIS PRICE RANGE), AND LATERAL SUPPORT IS PHENOMENAL.
i wish the lg1's had a bit more thigh support but for a high mileage dd i really can't complain.
oh, packaging was almost too good ... it took me forever to get bagging and bubble wrap off the seats. i'm not sure how much stock seats weight, but these are at least 15 lbs lighter.
screw the teasers, here's what will be going on in december (all parts in possession already):
corbeau lg1 seats in black microsuede
rotora 1 pc bbk in light blue
custom springed ksport kontrol pro dampers
oem fogs
buddy club p1 black open ended lugs
THANKS EXCELERATE
i'm so incredibly excited i'm not sure how i'm gonna calm down,
vin

I'm very pleased for you.
my Brides also arrived, but it was the complete opposite.
I'm beyond pissed off.
packing material?
no.
nothing.
a damn plastic bag, that was it.
so there is damage all over the seats, even a split seam.
I'm very, very disappointed in Bride. what a terrible company to send
out their product like that.
there's a small manufactuing error here and there too.
their quality control really sucks ass.
so good for you! I'm glad one of us is happy today about seats.

I only took pics of the damage really, but yeah, I'll post a few of those.
oh, and by the way, from what I'm finding out, Bride manufactures
their seats in Canada, not Japan...
...
not perfectly sure on that, but it seems to be the deal.
anyway, damage:
^split seam
^shipping damage
part came out of mold wrong, was used anyway.
terrible quality control.
another low quality plastic part that should not have been used.
they messed up the injection on this one or something.
more shipping damage, light scratching.
couple pictures of box damage
nothing too major at all.
seats are super, super comfortable.
tons and tons of support everywhere, they are perfect.
I am returning both seats to Bride.
Adam at Z1 is all over it and doing whatever possible.
I'm sure they'll send me new seats, but they better package
them correctly or have them show up somehow with no damage
or defective parts on them.
seriously.
a plastic bag over the seat and into the box they went.
...
so show me some pics of yours!!

great, then we can see some PICS!
finally.
my new seats won't be in from Japan intil mid January or so,
so it'll be some time now for me.
if anyone is interested in a pair of scratch and dent special edition
Brides, let me know.
can't wait to see your car with everything installed!

still have a light, dunno what the issue is really
seats are great, most comfortable aftermarket seats i've ever sat in
aluminum exhaust is roughly 17 pounds with better piping than greddy evo 2
stock like exhaust tips for stealth
magnaflow muffler and resonated mid-pipe (no mid-muffler)
rotora bbk is beautiful and stops effortlessly
rear calipers in black look good too
ah, black buddy club lugs to finish it off
oem-ish fogs
custom springed ksport kontrol pro dampers (10/6 kgf/mm, on softest setting for now)
lowered another 1/2" - rides nearly identically to tein basics, maybe a little bouncier
elated to say the least and i'm not done yet
special thanks to EXCELERATE PERFORMANCE and LHT PERFORMANCE
pics to come soon ... promise

Feels great, doesn't it?
I'm on mod hiatus until the spring... hoping my firm finds some way to give me a bonus in March... if not, that supercharger is way off in the distance... lol
Can't wait to see pics of your ride man.

^Gias/Stradia in a TSX.
Bride makes some absolutely superb seats!
The Gias have a very high thigh bolster.
The Stradia is the Gias with lower side bolsters, so consider that too.
And the Cuga is the next evolution beyond the Gias.
It is Bride's next step. 6.6lbs lighter I believe.
and the Cuga is the one with the high thigh bolsters,
while the Vorga is the Cuga with lower side bolsters.
can't go wrong with Bride.
Wow..... I can't believe they PHUCKED up your seats like that... I hope your issue has been or is going to be resolved soon sir...

thanks, yeah they are working on it.
the seats are limited edition, and Bride had no more of them, so they
had to make two more for me, so it's taking a while. they'll be leaving
Japan soon though and here sometime in late January or so.
I'll end up losing the cash for the EMS shipping due to this delay, but
there's not much I can expect them to do about that.
all I do expect is that the seats are in perfect condition this time around.
Bride said they would pack them extra super well before shipping them
off to me. I'll post an update in this thread whenever they do arrive.
so godfather:
airbag light on huh? not so good, we need to figure that out.
did the guys even install the resistors?
if they did, I'm guessing it's the passanger seat bladder that needs
to be transfered, rolled up and attached. just a guess though.
I don't want to tear into my car until the new seats arrive.
so it'll be a bit before I start cracking on this issue.
