Resistance against HOT TEMPERATURE?
How do you all think the NAV will withstand HOT Temperatures such as 100 - 110 degrees with as high as 80% humidity? Any people with NAVs living in Florida having trouble with the LCD screen looking funky becuz of the heat? I'm looking to move there in the relatively near future. I've never had a NAV before, so I'm just concerned.
I know with laptops and PDAs, their screens are susceptible to these temperatures and the heat tends to ruin the screen if place in the car for too long. When living in Las Vegas, I had one of those sun visor with a attached CD sleeve and when it got hot, it warped a few good CDs
Any comments?

Wow that's a good question. I'd imagine Honda had the foresight to use a screen that won't melt/distort in high heat, but who knows. How many other places get to 160 degrees + inside the car?

I have a navi, and I live in South Florida. The navigation screen works fine even with the annoying heat. Don't worry about it
Enjoy the sun, and the thongs when you come here.

FL here as well and no problems. Although I keep a sunshade up anytime I leave the car in an uncovered area. Supposedely the screen will automatically shut off if it gets too hot, but that doesn't account for screen damage from heat.
The worst part of the nav is keeping the screen clean.

to protect the interior of your car just get a good tinting and a windshield sun light blocker thingy. Supposedly they can lower interior car temperatures about 30-40 degrees
