Smile Replacing a navi system with non-navi

Hi all, I have a 2006 TSX with just 62,200 miles on it. Having to replace power steering pump and rack, but otherwise in pristine condition.
So, by golly, I'm going to keep it for as long as I can, hopefully nurturing it into classic status as it continues to mature through the years.
There's one problem (from my perspective): it has the navigation system.
To me, every year that passes makes the navi system a less attractive feature. I've never used it---my iPhone is so much better.
So with the big screen always turned off, it makes it appear either broken or too cumbersome and outdated to use.
So as my title indicates, I would love to replace the navigation center module with the non-navi radio center module.
This would make everything in the car functional/usable---now as well as 10-20 years from now.
All the posts I see on acurazine.com seem to address conversions in the opposite direction, from non-navi to navi. I see very little discussing my objective.
I'm not up for doing this myself. I'm thinking I could find a used non-navi assembly and pay my service shop to swap them out.
Do y'all think this is doable? Here are links to the two different assemblies:

They look like they were made to fit in exactly the same space. Agree?
Thanks for any feedback you can provide!
