Rear-ended after 3 days

I got my 2005 TSX on Saturday ... last night (Tuesday) I am driving home (from the acura dealership where my mothers TSX was going in for servicing) in bumper-to-bumper traffic when someone rear-ends me. Thankfully I just started moving forward so the car just jumped forward ... no damage. But you can imagine that the 5 minutes it took me to merge 3 lanes over so I could inspect the car and get the other guys insurance info were the worst of my life.

Good to know. I thought TSX will never survive any rear ended accident since it has no "visible" rear bumper.

That sucks. Although if you'd at least have a mark then you would no longer worry about the first scratch which will inevitably come.

Strangely enough the guy who hit my car was a pastor So now I got a friend in high places ...
Unfortunately I live in Sunnyvale but flew down to buy this car (well and to see my parents for Thanksgiving). So all digital cameras are sitting in my apartment ...

BTW does anybody know how much a spoiler for the TSX costs to get installed? Thats the only issue I have with the exterior ... the back is too blah. If the dealership isn't the best placed any places in Southern California, (Orange COunty ideally) that are good (and affordable)?

Buy the spoiler from one of the many internet sites and get the work done somewhere other than the dealer. The dealer charges too much for the labor.

Try a search and you'll find a number of threads on the subject.

www.spoilerdepot.com ---> Everyone seems to like the spoilers they sell. I'm going to get one soon...after my OEM Body Kit.

speaking of bumpers:

so i my ankle rolled (popped in/out) over a month ago. 2 weeks into the injury, i have to move to houston from la. i borrow my dad's crv for some transporting. as i'm pulling up into my carport, my foot slips (there's a plastic brace on it) and i hit the gas instead of the brake like some geriatric. the suv hits the concrete wall at about 5 mph, maybe a little more. i'm sweatin' like there's no tomorrow cos the impact was loud. i get out and there's no damage at all.

anyway, the point is, damn honda/acura bumpers are good.

myshu, glad to hear no damage was done. if i had seen any damage, i probably would've told the pastor to prepare to meet god.
