question about HIDs

Ok so heres the issue. One night when I pulled into my garage and parked close to the front wall, I noticed the my left HID was the nice bright white/tint of blue it should normally be. However, my right HID had a bright white but a little bit of a halogen look to it. Back a long time ago, I had condensation one of my headlamps and I got it replaced. I'm guessing that the since the left HID is newer than the right HID, thats why theres different shades of light coming out between them (again, not anything serious but still noticible). It's not a problem to drive with but since I plan on keeping the car to at least 200k miles (I'm at 75k right now), I want to get this fixed before the differences in the shades gets worse. I have an extended warranty on my car til 100k miles. What should I do? Take it to the dealership and demand a new HID? Demand two new HIDs from the same batch so I wont get this problem again? Will they give me a new unit or replace the bulb? Any input/advice would be greatly appreciated (*cough* CURLS *cough*). Thanks all.

Bulbs lose efficiency over time and can change colors as they are approaching the end of their life. You should always replace bulbs in pairs. If the dealer doesn't help you out and you are still concerned check out KAIXEN HID replacement bulbs.
