Question about Euro headlights

Just wanted to kno if it was worth getting them or not.
Because I can clear out my own headlights..

my question is, do the corners of the EURO headlights have some kind of a darker/black housing? Or are they just "clear"?

So like if I was to clear my headlights out myself, would they exactly resemble EURO headlights? or would i still have some kind of difference?

Thanks to those who reply.

the orange piece is clear. if you remove it it looks weird. there are 2 members on here that took out the orange piece and painted it. do a search. i think it was JATE and BDI.

I also think that the chrome piece in front of the actual bulb part of the light is black on the JDM version.

Don't forget that the light pattern is different from US, JDM and Euro lights.

JDM will have the beams reversed as they are RHD but Euro ones should be the same ?

how do you mean reversed?
will the light be dispersed towards the left or right more?

The continental e-code beam pattern looks like this (sort of) and throws most of the light to the RIGHT:

In RHD countries the beam pattern would be the opposite, and should throw most of the light to the LEFT, so as not to blind oncoming drivers.

We have 2 cars (Porsche and Volvo) with the headlights upgraded to e-codes, replacing the original DOT headlights. The e-codes have little "e"s in circles embossed in the lenses. The DOT lenses gave "DOT" embossed in the glass lenses. Interesting but neither the TSX nor my wife's Oddy seem to have "DOT" or "e" anywhere on the headlights.
