Power Acura in Southbay (Torrance)
Has anyone here had any experience with them and their service department?
I need to get an oil change and would just like to bring it in since I don't have any tools currently (just moved out here). I'm going to bring my oil and filter for the oil change.
Any idea what cost would be?
TIA

Welcome to SoCal! I haven't had an oil change at the dealership in 6yrs. I remember prices back then were about $30 (including comp car wash). Now, I've seen the local Honda dealer price a oil and filter change for 4-cyl @$35. I'd assume this or a bit more at an Acura dealership. I wouldn't know what they'd charge if you brought the parts.

i bought my car there and grew up in torrance.
I never have taken my car there for anything other than to fix a scratch on it that was there when i bought the car. So i got a loaner to fix a scratch that was on the car when i first bought it (it was a night delivery so i didnt see it until the next day).
They seemed pretty good. the funny thing was the service advisor who handled it was a guy who was on the track team with me in high school (but did not remember me).
if you live in torrance, there are a lot of reputable shops who will do your oil for less and much quicker than making an appointment at power acura.

Might be a bit expensive for an oil change, but that is where i bought my TSX and it's also where i got my Hondata reflash. It's been a while, but they were nice people to deal with when i was there.
