The Plastic Wood in the Parchment Interior

Hey everyone:

So I've finally accepted the fact that you can't get the black leather with PWP in the US. I personally love the PWP color and don't like any other colors; the plastic wood I have come to not dislike...

What do you all think of the "plood"? I think it makes the car look a bit more soft, plush and...feminine. Also easier to dirty the leather by the feet but this is not an issue for me. I haven't seen too many guys with the plood interior.

What do you all think?

masculinity?

i think the fake wood is anything but feminine... i have nhb/parc... tho i wish
we had the ebony for 04... my combination adds a little sense of elegance..
to it... it hated it in when i first got the car... but i've learned to live with it and
enjoying it

I like the look of the "plood". I agree that it adds a sense of elegance rather than being more feminine.

I think the "plood" actually flows together better at the lines and seams... its harder to notice imperfections then that of the faux titanium trim.

sorry to say, but PWP has every other color beat when it comes to modding (props to SSM too ), so I'd say there's plenty of guys w/ it. Check out mine, dzuy's, inspires, 228 (who I think is a girl?) and more

I have nothing against plood, just the light brownish color that TSX plood has.

I agree that it would look better w/ a somewhat darker color - like the darker burled walnut in some jags. That said, I personally prefer the fake wood over the fake titanium/aluminum - so much so that I just bought a Milano Red 05 w/ parchment interior, today.

I have it too and love it. The plood looks more expensive to me than the metallic. I was going for the more luxurious look verses sporty. Yes, the seats are hard to keep clean from shoe scuffs.

I have red/tan...classic sports car colors. I like to think of it as a luxurious, slow, cheap Ferrari. I, uh, mean that in a good way

We might be kind of backwards...my husband prefers the "plood" and I prefer the titanium. Since we both agreed on PWP for a color, I had to settle for the "plood"...now that we've had our TSX for a little over a month, I'm beginning to like the looks of the "plood".

I originally showed my wife pics of the parchment on milano red when we were deciding on colors. The one thing she pointed out that she didnt like was the plood. But when we finally got around to going to the dealership to look at them in person, the plood was a must have.
I looked at the ebony on MR at the dealership when i was picking it up and the titanium just didnt seem to fit to me.
