Picked it up yesterday

Finally got my 05 NBP/Ebony 6MT Non-navi yesterday after waiting 3 months. I must say that this car is amazing. It's even better than I remember when I test drove one a few months back.

The one thing that really impresses me is how much torque the car has at 1500-2000 RPM. I really thought with 166ft/lb it wouldnt go anywhere without shifting down. That figure must be underrated.

Anyway, I've been lurking around here for a few months and would like to thank everyone for the wealth of info they provide here.

Thanks for the welcome guys. I would post pics but it's winter here so it won't look good for a few months.

Congratulations GregMan!!
Where did you buy the car from? Burlington, Hamilton or Mississauga?
I just picked mine up tonight from Hamilton, it was one of the best buying experiences I've had but Brant in Burlington was freakin terrible!!

Also how much?

Congrats, Gregman. I'm about two months behind you. Also wanting the 6MT. Curious as to your initial impressions of clutch/shifter action. Did it take some "getting use to"? I test drove one this week and was surprised by the vague clutch engagement and notchy shifting action after reading all the rags rave about it.

Congrats to you as well Marko. I got it from Sherway (Etobicoke) because I used a broker that deals with them exclusively. What was the problem with Brant?

$43k OTD w/aero kit, fogs, spoiler, all-season mats, cargo net, wheel locks. I would highly recommend the body kit - it looks great.

Thanks and it's worth the wait. Funny, I found it a bit rough when I test drove one too. I think the reason was that I was driving it harder than my new one. anyway to answer your question: The 6MT is awesome. Smooth and easy to change gears. No problems at all with clutch or notchiness. I'd have to agree with the rags.

Now, when I've broken it in and I'm ready to let it loose, I think quick shifting will take some getting used to but I'm confident it'll be great.
