Picked up my TSX last night 4/27/04
I picked up my SSM 6MT/Ebony/Navi last night. This morning was the best ride ever to work. I look forward to many more enjoyable trips to and from work. You guys were right about the 6MT, like butter! I have a 45 min. commute to work, and it was to short today.
I only had to wait a week, but it was bit of an adventure. I decided to buy from my local dealer because he was offering the best deal, but they did not have the car I wanted. While asking around for internet quotes from other dealers I happened to find the exact car I wanted 45 miles further away. I had my dealer arrange to have this car swapped for one of his and I was to pick it up Saturday afternoon. Saturday morning comes and my salesman could not locate the car on the lot. They were sure it arrived on Thursday and assumed it was stolen the keys were gone too. I contacted the dealer that originally had my car and found out it was still there and someone was test-driving it. That obviously did not please me very much. I called my salesman back and they managed to secure the car for me. It turned out that the transport driver picked up the wrong car. I could have missed this one and had to wait 4 to 6 weeks for another one.
I am very pleased so far!

Awesome! I had a hell of a time finding a 6mt CGP w/ebony and Navi in the tristate. Today the dealership secured the car for me and I'll sign and pickup on Saturday! So excited!

I'm jealous of you!!
I still have 2 weeks of waiting before I get mine. Have been waiting a month already. I was very specific on what I wanted and none of the dealers around here had it. By the way, which dealer did you go to??

I went to Rosenthal Acura in Gaithersburg. I was very specific as well. I wanted what I got and nothing else. I tried the SSM/Quartz, but did not like how the brushed aluminum strip disappeared in the gray dash.
wanggo, your time, and your car, will come! What combo are you waiting on?
