Translating Moda's post with babelfish i got this:

Using the cable of selling separately, connecting the portable telephone with the terminal which is in the center console box, you use. When connecting, the cover is removed. As for the portable telephone which you connect, as in the figure it is possible to leave. In regard to details, please read the separate HONDA inter- Nabi system instruction manual.

Googling Honda Inter Navi got this

http://world.honda.com/news/1997/4970801.html

Tokyo, August 1, 1997 --- Honda has announced today the development of a new generation of its "Honda Navigation System". This new system features a "wandering sensing device" with both visual and audible warnings, using information from the navigation system to detect any abnormal driving patterns like when falling asleep at the wheel. This significantly less expensive system, which will be offered in a model scheduled to appear this autumn, also features an internet type two-way communication system called "Inter Navi System".

No clue but the adaptor is used for special phones from WIL COM and it links up to the HONDA provider which is the Inter Navi System you have to subscribe too.
