painting calipers
Sorry for posting this here, I wasn't sure which section to create it in.
I want to paint my calipers, but don't want to take them off to do this. I was hoping to use automotive paint in a can(is there such a paint?), and a brush. Brush the paint on the caliper, covering what i can see with the tire off. Taping off the non-painting surfaces.
1. Is this a good alternative to taking the calipers off? Or just plain lazy and not a smart idea?
2. What is the best paint ot use for this? One that would not flake off easily?
3. Any tips for painting them? i.e. use mineral spirits/ alcohol pads/ ammonia, etc.. to clean up the calipers prior to painting.
Thanks in advance for your help!
