Paint goes off.

I hit a pile of ice when I was parking, a few little dots of paint goes off the rear bumper. What can I do except painting it?

Live with it. That's about it. Just get a spot touch-up done if it isn't too large of an area that was wasted.

Hate to say it, but I have never had a repair paint experience that even came close to the factory paint. So I have to 2nd that you live with it. I am sure that some painting talent is avail, but I have yet to find it.

It's pretty easy to get a good paintjob, but getting one that lasts is the problem as factory paint gets baked on and is much harder than paint done later.

I had a hood repainted and it looked great for a while, but then the stone chips came back worse than ever. Best to live with the damage and then paint the car right before you sell it.

The other thing you can do is ask your Acura dealer who they use. The reason why is that if the dealer feels that their work is worthy, you should too. They will normally use someone that is great at matching factory paint.
