Ouch, stupid people!

I've been back in school here in Urbana-Champaign for about a week now and a few days ago I saw a nasty hit on a TSX. I don't know if the owner is on this forum but as I was walking to my apartment I saw a guy pushing a mattress frame over the second floor balcony into the dumpster. There is a NHB 5AT tsx parked right under there... we all know what happens next. The guy pushes the frame a little short of the dumpster and nails the car!!! Well anyway I walk on over to check the car later, assuming no one would take responsibility and checked for damages. Luckily the frame hit the windshield and it took the main part of the impact, so there was no body damage... lucky guy (owner and assailant). Don't park your car next the a rumpke bin!!!!

I really think people need to be more responsible for their actions. I was at a concert and just got out of my car. My rear driver side door was open and this moron in the car next to me just opens the door without looking. I was ready to snap his next right then and there for being so damn inconsiderate.

I was in nova a while ago, nice place to visit since it's so close to DC. Lots of TSX's out there too!

Yeah...there are a lot. More than even in SoCal, where I lived before. NoVA is really close to DC, which is nice since I have been going into the city a lot. The Metro system is great for getting around.

i think school explains it, dumb behavior out of a small set of college students never surpries me, especially after I just finished my 4 years.

Hmmm... I knew people back in college who took great pleasure in gravity testing anything they could think of. They were considerate enough not to damage other people's property, but there's always one somewhere.

Never had any incidents at U of I...knock on wood. I graduated already and when I go back to visit, which I do often, I park far and away from any dumpsters and other cars. If you visit on the weekends I reccommend the garage at 6th and John. Park towards the top - it never fills up leaving no cars to damage yours and its high enough that even the drunkest frat boy won't pee on your car as they do in that staircase - but that's a whole different discussion!
